I should not be here...

I should so not be blogging right now, the laundry is piled out the door, kitchen is a mess and my house is bombed from the last minute trip to Washington on Friday. I get a call at 5:15pm, Bob says,"Get packed we are driving to Washington." So Mad dash to find clean clothes and a primary Sub (THANK YOU JEN!!!I felt really bad asking you to sub, but you are a lifesaver!THANK YOU!) We jump in the car and off to visit Mema and Bepa.
This was a great visit,(they all are great but)We got to bring our puppy home! Denali as been hanging with Mema trying to pick up some good manners. I think it worked cause she as yet to have an accident in the house and she has been MUCH calmer! She is so beautiful and very fun, I love it when she chases her tail it cracks me up! William calls her "My NALLY" and if you call her anything other then "His Nally" he gets mad. Reagan loves to hold the leash and point at her. Alex has all but mauled the poor thing with hugs and kisses! We are loving the newest addition!

I couldn't get William to get out of the picture, he wanted to have a picture with "My Nally" We might have to change her name?!

While we were away I guess Boise was hit with quite the wind storm. I went to let Denali out after we got home Sunday night and thought something is different in our yard.... Oh yeah the Trampoline was missing! It had flown over the fence into the neighbors yard!

I went over and asked her if she had an extra tramp flying around I could have and she was more then happy to give it back!

House Hunting

Wow after the last few days of house hunting, I think the media is FULL OF IT when they say the housing market isn't moving! We have looked at alot of houses and even fell in love with a few but every time we get excited and think "Okay this is the ONE" we call the realtor to place an offer we find it pending. It is very frustrating. We had a list of 5 houses and 3 of them came back as pending! Its crazy!
I thought I would enjoy this part of it, going through houses and seeing different styles of living, but actually it has become very aggravating. I find myself making it personal. I walk through and instantly start making it mine, and then when I find it is pending, I am disappointed that I have to start over with the next one. So I will try and step back a bit and enjoy this process, but hopefully we find the right house soon and it will be pending with OUR offer!!!

My very own Leprechaun

He strikes again! William is notorious for wondering the house at night. His recent adventure led him to the pantry where he opened an entire box of pop tarts, then to the fridge where he abandoned the pop tart to a better snack,
a stick of butter,

only gnawing part of the way through that before he spotted the brick of cheese to nibble on!Just to clarify, I DO feed my children we had a rally good salmon dinner with rice and corn, he ate most of it!
Well after he had ingested his midnight snack, William was off to find some entertainment. What better then a GREEN MARKER!! Yes, green marker on the wall is great fun, but wouldn't it be more fun to color on the body? I found a green bearded 3 yr old this morning. He had green on his face in the shape of a beard, green on his chest, green dots on his knees, green lines down his legs, and green dots spots on his hands, and feet!

Is it consider abuse to lock a child in his room at night?

Good news or Bad news first?

I hate it when someone comes up and asks this question. I always hesitate, do I want the good news first so I can be happy for the moment knowing that bad news is coming, or do I want the Bad news first to get it over with and hope that the good news out ranks the bad? Well I usally go with the Bad news first so here goes....
WE ARE NOT MOVING. We went to sign papers last night and found some problems, then the acceptance is messed up (very long story) So last night Bob and I discussed it and figured we would be better to wait. Good news now.....
I AM OKAY WITH THIS. I was so excited to get the house, I was surprised to find myself slightly relieved with this desicion. I feel terrible for all the people who have hleped us and worked late on all the paper work that goes into somthing like this, but I know this is what is best for our family right now.
