Okay I think I jinxed myself with that last post. "So little time" HA... it seems our paper work has hit a wall and it could be as long as 2 weeks before we move! In the meantime we have packed EVERYTHING! I am sleeping on a mattress on the floor, wearing the same jeans for eewww... going on 6 days! ( I have washed them,so they and my undies are clean.) Just tired of the same outfit! All of my belonging are packed away in someone Else's garage! SO annoying!
And to top off this "great" week I am having, last night we had some punk throw a big rock into Reagan's window!
Resulting in her scared to death crying, me having a heart attack and realizing what an amazing man I married! The second we heard the crash at 4:00 am Bob was out of bed and holding Reagan before I could even get in the room! Once we realized she was okay and not cut ( just scared to death) he passes her to me and then goes on patrol of the house to find the idiot! Unfortionally we didn't find him ( lucky for who ever did it cause if Bob had got him,I might have had a husband on trial for Murder!) The Police were called and they showed up pretty quick, They mentioned they were already in the area for a burglary, so beware and lock your doors!
On a good note I gotta share my awesome find!!!Check her out....The trunk not the cute baby!
I can't wait to polish it up and make it pretty. It is going to make a cool coffee table!

So much to do so little time....
Okay quick update to let ya all know how it is coming, we received our loan, the title work is done, the appraisal came in, and we will probably sign the papers on Tuesday (Yes, like a week from yesterday!) and hopefully have the keys to my new pretty house by FRIDAY! I finished my second chair (pic in previous post)had to have that done before the move! Had to show this house to numerouse people wanting to rent meaning my house has to stay clean. With three kids, plus friends home all day is quite an accomplishment! Whew! This has gone so much faster then we thought it would. I am going through things like a mad woman, I've started packing boxes. But I am loving it! I am so excited for this and I love being super busy and seeing it all come together! I know some would say Im crazy, but I actually like to move. It makes me go through all my stuff, it gives me a chance to do more decorating, and it gives me a fresh start. Stay tuned for more updates as they come in...

My new chairs
After some amazing inspiration from Michelle, I decided to try my hand at upholstery. I found these chairs in a garage sale. Ok let me explain that last sentence, for those that know me I DO NOT garage sale. (something kind of creepy about rummaging through others junk) Please don't take offence I realize there are some amazing deals to be found and some people have all the luck finding them, I don't. I don't have the patients to drag my 3 kids around with me on a Saturday morning, I have better things to do. Anyhoo, so I was driving by and these chairs just jumped out at me, I stopped to see how much the lady was asking. $10.00 a chair and here I am committing the ultimate garage sale sin asking for them to hold the item while I get cash! ( you would have laughed if you saw this lady's face when I asked it was comical!) SO I run back to Walgreen's, stand in line for a pack of gum and some cash, run back to the lady and grab my steal of a deal chairs! I already new what fabric I wanted so I did some measuring and headed to JoAnn's with my 40% off coupons. A Staple gun, fabric glue, and a couple of hours later WA-LA My 2 new chairs! (okay just one is done so far but I had to share!!)

Im on the phone!!!
If I ever need to get the attention of my kids, I swear all I need to do is attempt to make a phone call. They could be completely oblivious to the fact that I’m even in the house, but the minute I pick up the phone, they are all over me. Someone’s tattle telling, fighting, taking a poop, singing, crying, and, in general, just misbehaving, all while I’m trying to carry on a civilized conversation with the person on the other end of the line.
Just yesterday, when I was trying to make an appointment over the phone, my daughter decided that was the absolute minute she needed to play Uno with me. I must’ve told her a hundred times that I’d have to play later, but it didn’t seem to register with her even one little bit. She went ahead and dealt out the cards anyway. Every time I’d walk around the corner to another room to be able to hear better, here she’d come with my cards, whining about it being my turn. How could it be my turn when I wasn’t even playing in the first place??!!
I’ve tried everything from forewarning them before making a call to hiding in a closet. NOTHING WORKS! They always find me! I thought it would get better as they got older, but it most certainly is not. In fact, I think it might even be worse. I feel so incredibly rude when I constantly have a three ring circus going on in the background of a phone conversation. It is a real challenge to focus on something when your kids are using you as the free space in their obnoxiously loud game of tag.
I’m at a loss and could use some serious advice. Somebody out there MUST have some ideas in their back pocket, other than opening up a good can of whoop ass. So, what do you do to preoccupy your clan while making phone calls? Do tell…. PLEASE!!!
