First day of second grade!

Today is the first day back to school. Alex was so excited she was up, dressed and ready by 7:00am (school doesn't start till 9:05) She wanted to have german pancakes for breakfast and she had me go through all her school supplies to make sure they were all there. (Maybe it was a good thing we were up two hours before!) I am so excited for Alex, she loves school and I know she will do good, but I am going to miss the little chatter box! She always has somthing to ask or comment on. I have notice this morning to be very quiet. Don't get me wrong, William puts in his fair share of noise. I guess I will have to get used to a little different house! Good Luck Alex, I love you!

Happy Birthday to me!

Sunday was my 30th birthday. I had a wonderful birthday Bob went all out to make it special for me. I had flowers delivered to the house....

We went to dinner the night before at my fave restaurant, Carino's . That night Bob stayed up till midnight baking my birthday cake, and he got up with the kids to let me sleep ALL night! In the morning I got to open some awesome presents...

I love spending time with my family, so what better then spending the entire day with them at the fair?! We had lots of fun at the petting zoo checking out the sights and EATING!

Gotta love those elephant ears!.. and cotton candy!

We came home and had a great steak dinner, corn on the cob and BIRTHDAY CAKE!

I had such a great birthday It makes turning 30 a little easier. I have been dreading this, I am no longer in my 20's I always thought that 30 was old but now that I'm here it really isn't all that bad. Leslie ( my sis-in law, and good friend) asked me if I really wanted to live my 20 over again? The answer to this was "HEll NO" I just spent the last 10 years getting to where I am now...
A great relationship with my husband
3 beautiful, healthy kids
A beautiful house that is MINE!(no more rentals)
Great life long friends
The knowledge of who I am and what I want with my life
I am looking forward to the future and am excited for the rest of my life. I will not grieve for the past 29 years cause I know there is so much more for me.

CNR

Well, its bulls and blood
Its dust and mud
Its the roar of a Sunday crowd
Its the white in his knuckles
The gold in the buckle
He'll win the next go round
Its boots and chaps
Its cowboy hats
Its spurs and latigo
Its the ropes and the reins
And the joy and the pain
And they call the thing rodeo....

All of us sporting new cowboy hats, we headed to the rodeo! From Barrel racing to bull riding my kids were hog tied to the show! The kids loved it, I am plagued with questions of "When can I have a horse?"
"Can we go to the rodeo again? "
" Can I ride a cow?" William wants me to buy him a cow.
I am pretty darn sure this has just become a tradition!

Happy Birthday Mom!

A few days after our trip to Mossy creek I drove to Pocatello to celebrate my mom's birthday. The kids love going to grandma's house and playing in the play house, petting the kitties, and hanging out with all the cousins!

Fuzzy Balls

Fuzzy Balls the name we came up with for our Family vacation to Mossy(creek) Rock Wa. We had a great time in record high heat, I was loving it! We swam, we fished, we played at the beach, we got DIRTY! and we just enjoyed great company!

Then onto Eastern Or to LaPine and Bend. We visited a 1700 year old Volcano hiked the lava Tubes and an obsidian flow. Saw some great water falls and had some fun on the boat!

I love that we have so much fun together, we can read a book for hours around the campsite or hike all day long and we enjoy the time well spent! I love you guys!
