Nature Center

We spent the day at MK Nature Center I was surprised to find that today they were having all kinds of hands on learning booths! So the kids got their faces painted.

They painted feathers, and learned to draw birds. Willliam's favorite station was the Owl pellets. This is where they plop a regergitated blob on your plate and you pick through to find all the bones and guess what kind of rodent was served for dinner.Reagan wasn't into that so she was occupied playing with these cool owl eyes, they were magnified so she kept walking into everything, it was soo funny. She even drew a crowd when she started to hoot like an owl.

Everyone made binoculars to go bird watching. They had real (stuffed) birds perched all over the place so that the kids could go find them.

There was a little sheet with all the birds pictures you had to walk around and find, and Reagan was such a Hoot! She had a little finger pointed at all times to find the birds and to lead the guy around to show him what she found. He & I were having more fun watching her then finding all the birds!

It was such a fun day I love that it is finally getting warm and we can go play outside. To celebrate we grabbed an icecream cone on the way home! The kids are worn out from all the walking and the evening should be a nice and quite one.

Little cuties! I love that you go do fun things like that with your little ones! I struggle with that sometimes because Teagan is so little! And for the record....YOU are the best Mommy I know!
